- a highly addictive brick-buster-type (breakout) game with beautiful graphics and interesting action (see www.alawar.com for details). Yes, this is an affiliate link, but I registered Hyperballoid complete edition the same day I tried it. It's a favorite of mine, and of my son.

- another old favorite, try this 3-d tetris game
called variously bookmarklets, favelets, etc, these are small but useful snippets of javascript that can run from your browser bookmarks/favorites. They can perform all sorts of useful functions for surfing, webdesign, etc
