Owen C. Henry, 96, 2876 Henry Rd, Chambersburg, Pa. 
died 12:54 a.m. Sunday June 25, 2006 at home. 

Born Nov. 22, 1909 in New Franklin, he was the son of the late 
Benjamin S. and Naomi Fortna Henry. 

He was a member of the Fayetteville Otterbein U.M. Church where he was a
certified lay speaker, Sunday School Superintendent., and lay delegate
to conference for many years. 

An orchardist all his life, he operated Owen C. Henry Orchards and had
also been employed at C.H.S. as a janitor for a number of years. 

His wife, Mary L. Henry, died Feb. 9, 1993. 

Surviving are 
 a grandson, Doug Walter, Chambersburg; 
 grandaughter Sherry Smith, Chambersburg; 
 and a great-grandson, Nikki Smith, Chambersburg. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday June 29, 2006 from the Robert
G. Sellers F.H. with Pastor Tom L. Willis officiating.  Burial will be
in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on
Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Loyalty
Sunday School Class, 61 W. Main St., Fayetteville, PA 17222.
